Description

An exciting  long term contract opportunity has arisen for a Lead Process Engineer to act as a client representative on this new build $400 million Bulk Drug substance facility based in Ireland.

 

We are looking for a high level Senior Process Engineer with previous start-up experience  and a good knowledge of DOWNSTREAM equipment to drive through and deliver this project.  This will involve working closely with the design firm and travel to the US will be required on occassions.

 

Concept design is complete. This is now at detailed design stage.    



Initial role will include the following: 



- Detailed design, working closely with the  design team 



- Prepare P&ID's, URS, complete design reviews, and lead the downstream effort providing technical oversight, mentoring junior staff 



To be successful we are looking for the following skills and experience



- Process Engineering Lead experience with strong filtration/downstream

- New build - start up 

- Working closely with design firms, design review, strong  compliance mind set and leadership exprience

- Equipment expeirence: Filtration, purification, chromatography, centrifuge and isolators etc

- Previous experience of managing deliverables of engineering consultancies. 

- Process design experience to include: Downstream, ideally single use technology. 

- Experience in a GMP facility or with GMP projects. 

- Must be able to work in a multi-discipline team to support project activities. 

- Good leadership experience 

- Previous client representation - to be able to work as one team is key.  Really nice team and culture is king! Someone who is able to share their vision and enthusiasm.
