CCSA Network Security Engineer/Consultant - Checkpoint/Firewalls/Palo Alto/TMG/ISA
Isle of Man - 3 months initial - Contract - ASAP Start - £350 to £500 per day
My client are looking for someone to assist in a network security team for a minimum period of three months. You will be responsible for the support and maintenance of live environment perimeter Firewalls and security systems. In addition, you will deliver security technology projects, changes and implementations across the Security infrastructure.
Any previous time spent on the Isle of Man either living or working would be highly advantageous but not essential.
Main Duties
- Provide day to day security support and maintenance for live environment perimeter Firewalls and security systems.
- Provide technical security capabilities and guidance to business led projects.
- Management of project tasks to deploy technical infrastructure as per the roadmaps.
- Security assurance to business projects covering a wide range of software, hardware and systems architecture solutions.
- Provide full advice, analysis and recommendations to the Lead Security Architect and at all levels.
- Provide high and low level security design advice and guidance to government departments, statutory boards and outside commercial organisations where appropriate, raising awareness of security opportunities arising and ensuring compliance with ICT/Security policies and standards.
- Contribute to investigations into escalated security issues, identifying and implementing solutions to the issues discovered.
Requirements
- Checkpoint CCSA accreditation - (Must be current and valid - non negotiable)
- Experience of Checkpoint enterprise Firewalls
- Experience of Palo Alto Networks appliances
- Experience of Microsoft TMG/ISA
