A Global supplier of process Engineering Machinery is recruiting for a Electrical Design Engineer to work a contract role Mon-Fri at their facility in Hilton,Derbyshire to start ASAP for a minimum of a month offering an hourly rate of £30.00-£35.00 per hr (LTD) depending on skills/Qualifications. Job Description
Working as part of the Engineering and Design team, this position will give the applicant the opportunity to use their existing skills and develop new skills.
The main duties will include:
- Work as part of the design and development team
- Identify electrical requirements and design electrical power and control circuits
- Specify and identify electrical motors for specific applications
- Design control regimes including the use of PID and PLC
- CE marking and electrical safety
- Develop data acquisition software using HMI type development software
- Identify and source components
- Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials
- Work with the production department to build equipment and prototypes
- Test and commission finished equipment
- Work with existing Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical and other specialist engineers
- Working with the team to meet delivery deadlines
- Identifying process improvements
- Identify customer service improvements
- Identifying improvements in equipment capability and customer experience
- Answering mechanical customer service questions
In return for working a 37.5hrs week the Electrical Engineer will be paid a hourly rate of £30.00-£35.00per hr.
