Senior Solutions Analyst, £NEG, 9 Months, Spain
Support the Project Delivery carrying out elements of software configuration, and testing to develop solutions. Ensures an overall level of quality in all the solutions & components created. Supports the analysis and design phases, and is active in problem resolution throughout the delivery life cycle. Provides strong leadership skills to the junior members of a project team, helps to enforce best practice in the build & test stages of all deliveries.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Strong level of related experience in delivering Collections, Origination, Customer or Strategy Management solutions across different sectors.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial Collections, Origination, Customer or Strategy Management solutions, design, functionality and benefits.
- Significant experience of software solution design and configuration.
- Strong understanding and experience of the SDLC and Agile Methodologies underpinned by a good understanding of a structured PPM delivery.
- Experience of delivering numerous complex software solutions across multiple industry verticals.
- Advanced knowledge of software configuration tools and general purpose IT packages and also the practice of Test Planning and supervising the execution of detailed test cases plus providing support documentation.
- May have worked in the capacity of Test Lead and may have test automation experience.
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, good presentation capabilities, strong oral and written communication skills. Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to travel and work/manage in remote Matrix managed teams.
Requirements, Analysis and Design
- Attend and contribute to or lead design and review process as appropriate with guidance, supervision from Product Consultancy.
- Provide insight to solution design impacts on delivery and make recommendations for ease of delivery and support.
- Understands product capabilities/limitations and applies to the solution design.
- Produce project business and functional design specifications under supervision.
- Supervise the creation of comprehensive test plans as well as the execution of said test plan in conjunction with or without a Test Manager.
Project Delivery
- Support project manager in assessing, planning and organising project workload to meet project commitments within agreed schedules, including own workload and that of others.
- Support project delivery workloads on a day-to-day basis, including liaison with insource/outsource resource while ensuring documented procedures are followed, including maintenance of project documentation.
- Takes Ownership of project issues and works towards a resolution of these with the support of a consultant
- Is accountable for the quality of the project deliverables, and that the deliverables match the agreed specification.
- Prepare reports for the Project Manager which they can use to communicate
- Proactively identify potential risks in achieving project timescales, taking all possible action to minimise risk.
