Skills and experience:
- University or college degree in computer engineering, computer science, business administration OR formal qualification in computer studies or proven ability to perform tasks
- Formal qualification in Project Management (PMI, Prince2)
- Experience with defined project management technology as well as planning estimation, budget management, performance monitoring, quality assurance and risk analysis
- Proven experience and broad IT background in relevant specific IT projects
- Understanding of business requirements in the areas of financial markets and statistics
- Good understanding of project management methodology
- Good understanding of MS Porject and MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Description of work:
- Define and plan project deliverables and estimate resources necessary to meet goals
- Ensure delivery by project team of the agreed deliverables on time, in agreed quality and within approved budget
- Ensure relevant manager or group receives appropriate information and provide early warnings on critical issues, supporting responsible staff in applying project risk management methodology
- Elaborate proposals and advise how critical issues can be resolved
- Maintain project plan, manage parts of it and revise it as appropriate to meet changing needs in terms of scope and requirements
- Monitor and report on timeline issues arising to the relevant stakeholders, focusing on project dependencies and milestones on the critical path
- Primary point of contact on project management related issues and liaise with relevant stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Support relevant staff in assessing whether project deliverables meet specified acceptance criteria and assist project team in coordinating activities
