My client is currently looking for an Middleware consultant who has good working knowledge of enterprise Servers, Please can you check the specification and let me know if you could be suitable and interested in the position below? Language: English (French or Dutch is a plus)
Responsibilities:
Carry out Solution Design/Architecture roles & activities for a variety of Business & Technical projects
* Address IT Infrastructure cost optimization, as part of solution design
* Clarify roles towards engineering & operations teams (Server, Storage, DB, Middleware, Network, Security,...), development teams & Project Office
* Fulfill the needs of (business) customers by smoothly driving the overall design and build of the IT Infrastructure ( get it right first time )
* Provide all input for the setup and change of the IT infrastructure part of the Business Case, including workload and non-workload estimates.
* Carry out cross-IT studies (Virtualization, Network, Data Centres, Disruptive IT, Capacity Mgmt,
Disaster/Recovery, IT integrations, etc)
* Ensure investment (CAPEX) control, reporting & follow-up.
