Framework Support Officer - Stakeholder Support - 7 Months

Framework Support Officer & stakeholder support: Financial Frameworks require 1 member of staff, to cover maternity leave from today's date to the end of March 2017. The HEO role would cover post PRA17, and would support the team until permanent vacancies are recruited to.

The post holder will cover the role of Framework support officer and stakeholder support. This will include supporting the grade 7 managers with external events, correspondence management and addressing new risk areas for the team (eg: the impact of full academisation on the framework and the Apprenticeship Levy). The post holder will also provide a secretariat for the AFA working groups.

The post-holder will be responsible for the delivery of activities within the team's workstrands. Duties may vary over time and the post-holder will need to be adaptable and resilient, ready to undertake a diverse range of tasks including the following:
* supporting on the delivery of specific areas of assurance as allocated
* supporting senior colleagues with project work as allocated
* providing liaison and support for the G7 line manager
* supporting senior colleagues with the delivery of presentations and training as required to a variety of stakeholders
* supporting senior colleagues with the writing of concise papers with clear recommendations for senior staff.
* Co-ordination of correspondence responses, including reporting statistics to DoSF
* Support on development of Financial Planning Template, including increasing excel skills
* Framework meetings:
o Co-ordinating auditor forum, firms forum, WG1 and WG3 (including drafting minutes)
o Co-ordinate frameworks face to face meetings, including as rotating chair (and drafting minutes)
* Support for wider Frameworks and PRA team
* Champion for financial frameworks:
o Data champion
o Workplaces
o Iris
o CRM

Skills and Attributes

Accounts background, advanced Microsoft office knowledge, happy to work in a team, Excelent report writing skills,

* to understand their own work area and have a general understanding of the links to other areas and how their work fits within the structure of the organisation.
* an ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people both orally and in writing.
* sound analytical skills and good judgement to inform their decisions or when providing opinions or advice to others.
* good interpersonal skills.
