Senior Communications Officer - Glasgow - 6-month contract
Our public sector client based in Glasgow has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications Officer to join their external communications team.
Essential skills:
- Experience in writing press releases and handling journalists
- Experience in writing content for specific audiences
- Experience in the development, management and execution of proactive media campaigns
- Knowledge of PR/Communication techniques and mechanisms
- Experience in supporting Communications Manager/providing them with communications advice
- Primary point of contact for incoming media enquiries
Desirable skills:
- Previous experience working on external communications within a public sector/government organisation
- Social media experience
- International communications experience
