Fibre Services Engagement Manager

Location: Ireland

Job Summary

Accountable for customer centric offerings, including re-use, addressing the passive fibre infrastructure turnkey services based on complete company portfolio & 3PP. Responsible for creating & taking forward offerings to existing or new customers in Ireland with potential for substantial growth through innovative business & go-to-market models. Responsible for Lead Management to secure fibre services as an established revenue stream for the Company Customer Unit in Ireland. Partner with the CU Ireland account teams in driving customer engagements by providing thought leadership & support in identifying & capturing opportunities.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Identify & proactively drive new business opportunities, generate & manage leads to develop revenues from fibre services for the company's customer unit in Ireland.
  • Deliver customer value & thought leadership in the area of fibre services. Identify sales opportunities for company fibre services and lead engagement for same from solution and services perspective.
  • Conduct in-depth business focused discussions with the customer & analyse customer business environments, requirements, plans & issues to translate into company led propositions.
  • Lead the development of local company fibre services propositions through solutions comprising company services, tools and processes in conjunction with ASP teaming partner offering.
  • Lead proposal services solution costings through partner offerings and innovation in delivery such that the company's business case is robust and the business case to the customer is as value adding.
  • Build, manage & expand the local fibre services offering to support customer opportunities and aligned to company fibre services strategy.
  • Drive delivery and contract readiness activities for the customer proposals in-flight.
  • Handle customer & stakeholder engagement: manage customer relationship building confidence & trust
  • Translate learnings and insights from pilot and trial phases through to update services solution. Ensure solution status through delivery phase

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • 5-10 years' experience of relationship sales & from ICT industry with focus on fibre infrastructure. Experience in passive optical network deployments
  • Understanding of FTTx topology including mixed networks with GPON, G.Fast, VDSL, HFC, Docsis. Knowledge of passive optical network deployment methods and tools
  • Up-to-date market insights on operator, prime and sub-contractors for passive optical networks
  • Fluent verbal and written English skills
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills.
