Digital Planning Manager pay up to £350/day

As a Planning Manager, you will be a senior member of the Digital, Marketing; Brand team.
This team is responsible for driving growth in customer numbers for the company across all business channels. The team achieves this through insight led marketing initiatives, driving brand awareness and meticulous management of all customer communications throughout defined customer journeys.

The role of Planning Manager is to lead the development of marketing plans which support the delivery of commercial goals across all sectors, including domestic, business and generation:

  • Use insight and analysis to define and know the target audiences; defining, developing customer propositions; shaping plans by collaborating with colleagues in Digital, Customer, Production, Communications and Business Development teams and then tracking performance to ensure delivery against the plans
  • Confirm target audiences across all the company's market sectors and channels, using appropriate insight and analysis
  • Shape marketing goals which support the delivery of company commercial goals
  • Work with Customer Marketing, Digital Marketing, Insight, PR/Communications, Business Sales, Partnerships and Communications Production teams to ensure a coordinated, joint approach to campaign planning, tracking and execution
  • Lead the development of customer acquisition and retention plans which deliver against the commercial goals, identifying appropriate marketing mix to achieve the goals. Working alongside the Head of Propositions and Brand Manager to ensure all propositions are aligned to customer segments and brand strategy with a clear point of difference and USP.

Essential:

  • Strong background in marketing across B2C, B2B, Partnership and B2B2C channels of a service industry
  • 7 years + experience as a marketing professional
  • Commercially minded strategic thinker
  • Significant experience in strategic and tactical planning across multiple markets and audiences
  • Experience of brand development and management
  • Able to deploy a range of effective influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Good with numbers and data, particularly making sense of multiple potentially contradictory sources of information
  • Relevant professional qualifications
