Your Profile:
10 years of professional experience as technical expert of security technology platforms.
5 years of experience as a domain/enterprise architect.
University degree (preferably in IT) or relevant work experience.
Proven experience in design, deployment & maintenance of a SIEM platform.
Can take the lead to a successful Cyber Security Strategy, architecture design and implementation of both.
strong communicator able to translate technical reality to the management
Strong technical skills and practical experience in design, deployment and support of Cyber Defense Center technologies like Intrusion detection & prevention systems (IDS/IPS), capture & analysis of packages, forensics netflowmonitoring, respons & control of incidents, detection of networkanomalies, vulnerability management, GRC-tooling,
Fluent in English and French or Dutch
Your Role:
Determines the architectural medium & long term roadmap of the Cyber Security Services domain based on the security governance corporate strategy & in collaboration with amongst others, Enterprise Security architects, Security Officers & Business Stakeholders.
Looking for potential technical optimisations within the domain.
Explores the market for new technological and methodological developments and introduces these new technologies at the right time.
Be the point of expertise for all stakeholders for the technical questions
Participate in the creation of a continuous improvement program to ensure the availability and performance of the IT/Cyber security solutions and the efficiency of the support.
Define the IT architecture of projects related to the IT/Cyber security & Optimisation of the chosen solution & defined roadmap. This work is done in collaboration with enterprise architects and applications engineers to ensure that the technical solution is in line with IT and security architectures.
Responsible for the intake of new projects and translate the business requirements into technical requirements
Participate to the creation and evaluation of the eventually required RFP/RFQs and proof of concepts.
Provide 3rd line support to operation team members to ensure that incidents are managed within the adequate timing.
