SAP Solution Architect
Responsibilities
The primary role of the Solution Architect is to ensure that all SAP functional and technical designs and deliverables are fit for purpose and aligned with business processes. The goal is to create a high-performance strategic system for the customer, which reflects best practices.
Activities
? Be accountable for SAP system architecture and integration's and report to the project manager.
? Collaborate with and challenge, other consultants to ensure a world-class technical solution consisting on FICO, HCM, SRM, PM, MM, and BI/BW is delivered.
? Provide SAP and other technical solution knowledge, best practices, expertise and support to the project team.
? Provide technical solution to team members while designing business solutions.
? Analyse the risk/impact of technical changes in the SAP landscape and offer remediation measures.
? Provide on-demand technical recommendations to the team.
? Mentor and support lead consultants on methods, procedures, and standards to be used during all phases of the SAP implementation and post go-live support.
? Take responsibility for system performance and scalability of the solution.
? Communicate solution architecture to all key technical and business stakeholders.
? Provide recommendations on the integration with third party systems, making recommendations on what other complementary software may optimize the solution.
? Lead the Design Authority Board making balanced recommendations and decisions based on SAP best practices, project scope, and design governance guidelines.
? Lead solution architecture quality management tasks such as quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code.
