My client who are a leading name in the energy and Utilities sector are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join them.

Role:

Site based role to ensure the successful delivery of a Community Energy (CE) project. Assist the Project Delivery Manager (PDM) to ensure that the project is delivered in accordance with the programme and budget whilst maintaining premier safety, health, environmental and technical quality standards. Ensure that the project achieves the required design, specifications and complies with regulatory and legislative requirements. Assist the PDM, as the primary contact on site, with sub-contractors and suppliers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all work carried out complying with company safety standards as well as relevant legislation eg CDM
  • Prepare and implement short term look ahead programmes of work
  • Monitor and record ESP and ISP progress and performance against time, cost, quality and safety targets
  • Maintenance of accurate site records
  • Building relationships with customers as well as ESPs and ISPs on site

Experience:

  • Appropriate mechanical engineering or building services qualification and experience.
  • Supervisor's CSCS card.
  • SMSTS, SSSTS or NEBOSH (Construction) Certificate
  • Knowledge and experience of district heating networks and energy centres would be desirable.
  • Oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to take a confident and diplomatic approach with staff, contractors, customers, and managers.
  • A thorough understanding and detailed experience in CDM responsibilities.
