Job requirements
Tasks Description.
Working in a level 2 team
CiscoWorks LMS management knowledge
Wan knowledge (Optimization, ..)
Firewalls and security management knowledge
LAN management (upgrades, deployments based on Cisco Catalysts)
Wireless deployments and management (based on Cisco technology)
Escalade new problems to suppliers' Support Team or customer Level 3
Write procedures for support teams (Level 1 and Level 2)
Update knowledge base
Participation to on-duty team schedule
Project management concerning all network deployment (new of update) of TOIP, Lan, Wan, .. with other team members or suppliers with many interactions with the business.
Helping the team in other IT task (Authorizations, Pc problems, ..).
Competences:
Writing & presentation skills
o Ability to write and document solutions, processes and procedures (in English)
o Ability to present the solutions and to give training sessions to their colleagues
Traveling
o Ready to travel for short-term missions in the Benelux
o Assignment is based in Brussels
Language
o Good in English both reading and writing. Speaking is a plus
o Good in French both reading, writing and speaking
o Good in Dutch both reading writing and speaking
S/he must be fluent in one of the two main languages in BéNéLux and good in the other.
IT-Skills
Technical skills
o Cisco CCNA or equivalent (higher certification such as CCNP is a plus)
o IP telephony, wireless, Firewalls and security, WAN, LAN
o Network troubleshooting skills
o Project management skills
o Basic knowledge of Microsoft environment (AD, SCCM, DHCP, Exchange, Windows 7 )
o Remote access and VPN technologies
Other specifics
Experience, others
o Working experience in a company with a structured organization as an international company for example (more than 4 years)
o Experience of at least 2 years in a similar task is a requirement
o Stress resiliency, flexible time schedules, autonomy
o Knowledge of ITIL standards
o Good experience in project manage with all business departments
Remarks
This person will not be occupied to 100 % by the network. It's for that reason that s/he must be open to learn other IT knowledge linked with our environment.
