ICT INFRASTRUCTURE RELOCATION TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER
The contract is with a large consultancy based in Brussels to be on assignment at a client site in Stockholm. The client is looking for an ICT Infrastructure Relocation Technical Project Manager to support the design and implementation phase of the IT infrastructure for new premises. In this phase the provisional planning for the IT Infrastructure needs to be extended and fitted to the actual building specification and needs, developing roadmaps and a relocation plan.
Tasks:
Collect and develop with the Infrastructure team leaders/architects the roadmap followed by a relocation plan for the infrastructure of the new building. The list of envisioned roadmaps should include the below list.
In some cases external experts and hardware suppliers might be included in the planning:
o Network Back End infrastructure,
o Network perimeter and security infrastructure,
o Network structured cabling and wireless network design,
o Data Storage roadmap,
o Server data centre plan/data centre design incl. cloud hybrid sourcing,
o Design of the conference IT facilities,
o Design of the AV equipment for meeting rooms,
o Design of the IT service facilities,
o Design of printing solution,
o Emergency operations centre IT facilities.
Consolidate the above listed roadmaps to an integer design plan.
Develop a detailed relocation plan.
Deliverables, depending on project/product/activities to be managed, may include:
o Architecture, design drawings
o Minutes of meetings, preparation documentation for meetings
o Action item lists
o Project Schedules
o Project presentations and reports
o Risk and issues records
o Other project documentation and activity deliverables.
Required expertise:
Proven track of IT Infrastructure projects
Knowledge of the current IT Infrastructure technology, evolution and trends
Experience in IT Infrastructure architecture and designing
Experience in IT relocation projects.
