Description

Assistant Management Accountant/Project Accountant

The candidate will support the Management Accountant with forecasting, month end accruals and reporting, financial controls and SWU process and governance.

Regular use of SAP, Excel and PowerPoint will be required at a competent level.

Ability to engage and work closely with stakeholders outside of the Finance team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Rolling forecast processes,
  • Month end accruals and prepayments
  • SWU Governance Processes
  • The candidate will be able to demonstrate suitable experience for this role through:
  • Having 2 years of experience in the field of management accounts and be part way through a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Having 5 years post graduate experience, 3 of which are in the management accounting field
    • Having worked in a project environment previously, and show an understanding of the complexity of cost accounting involved when managing a project of this scale.
