Description
Our client is embarking on a major programme involving rationalisation of infrastructure and procurement of the full range of the associated managed services under a disagregated service model. The programme will be delivered via a number of workstreams which focus on specific areas of IT delivery: To this end the client requires a Technical Architect to focus on the Platforms element of the System Integration and Platforms workstream, a set of foundational' common technology services under-pinning the Client IT landscape.

To this end the client requires a Security Architect to produce, manage and deliver information security management design products and to be a key contributor to the development of Information Security approach, governance, architecture and management on the Prorgamme. The Security Architect will work with internal resources governing the work of 3rd party consultants and outsource managed services suppliers. This role works in collaboration with a small team to ensure the overall end to end Security Architecture is designed to completeness and delivered as agreed.
General Skills and Experience
- Mature experience in designing, developing and implementing Security Models across c10-20k user base organisations
- Experience in selecting and applying security management principles, policies and techniques in client operational environments
- Experience of leading teams/Matrix managing
- A self-starting, lateral thinking individual with a strong work ethic capable of planning and managing own time effectively.
- Ability to perform under pressure and to work using own initiative as well as part of a team, taking personal responsibility for making things happen and achieving results.
- Creative problem solving and analysis skills with an ability to identify develop and implement solutions to gaps to meet the needs of the business
- Excellent verbal and written (including presentation) communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience of working in a fast paced delivery team. Including elements of Agile working, contributing architectural needs to definitions of done and success criteria.
Specific Technical Skills and Experience
- Experience with transitioning services between outsourced managed services suppliers is desirable
- Strong awareness of ISO27001 controls related to all security architecture areas
