Optimus Search are an industry leading Recruitment Consultancy currently working with some of the world's most renown companies.My client is a Global Medical Devices company based in Huddersfield, together we are looking for a Design Quality Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract.

Tasks & Requirements;
- Continual Improvement and mechanical engineering background is preferable
- You will be working closely with suppliers or the manufacturing site in defining, developing and evaluating design and process specifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise of manufacturing and inspection methods and their limitations into cost effective design and process solutions
- Leading or assisting in Design FMEA's and the resolution of any issues identified during development
- Apply various Quality/Lean/Six Sigma tools and methods to identify and realise new product process introductions as well as process improvements
