Financial Controller - Contract - Chester
A leading Client of Modis is looking a Financial Controller with experience with Control experience. The Financial Controller must have AAT Level 4, ideally started studying CIMA.
Key Accountabilities- Assist European financial controller on bespoke reporting and controlling issues
- Produce and present reports containing financial information to AGPS key customers
- Additional financial adhoc work as and when required, and in line with role within the finance controlling environment
Main Activities
- Investigate and report on transversal organisations within AGPS ensuring all costs are in line with annual budget
- Liaise with key clients ensuring all members of the team are fully aware of incurred costs/remaining budget, as well as any foreseen issues that may arise
- Presenting information to European controller on both AGPS total costs as well as new transversal functional cost centres, ensuring a discreet and professional manner is maintained at all times.
- Produce reports as and when required, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Investigate costs posted to all AGPS cost centres, and produce monthly forecasting for European Controller
- Excellent IT skills to include windows packages: Word, excel and PowerPoint
- AAT qualified, CIMA desirable
- Previous Controlling experience essential
- Experience in SAP advantageous
- First class customer service skills and an ability to present to various key clients at different grades in the organisation
- Ability to prioritise own work load to meet all deadlines, as well as deliver high quality work
