Proteus Europe is searching for a Service engineer with Meta Directory services/infrastructure experience for a long term contract role based in Brussels.

Reference Tasks
The following list of tasks applies to the profiles for the senior Engineers.
This list is not exhaustive and may evolve in time, also depending on the type of assignment:
- Analysis and specification of operational requirements
- Analysis and specification of operational processes
- Analysis and specification of technical requirements
- Proofs of concept
- Development of scripts to automate and monitor recurrent systems related tasks
- Definition of test strategies, test design, and testing of computing systems and networks
- Change and Configuration management
- Capacity management
- Risk management
- Operational support (2nd tier)
- Installation and configuration of all relevant hardware and software
- Daily monitoring
- Incident and problem management
- Reporting
- Coordination with 3rd party maintenance contractors
- Technical assessment of technologies and related products
- All types of technical documentation, operational guidelines and procedures
- Technical training and guidance
- Reporting
With regard to Lot 2A, the following specific tasks apply:

. Administration of Directory Services in a large MS Windows environment (Active Directory, MIIS)
Your Skills and experience:
Essential Skills:
Overall Practice in IT
- Minimum number of years: 7 (but 12 in case of Secondary Education)
Specific Practice
- Administration of Meta directory services in a large MS Windows environment (minimum 5 years)
- Design, integration and deployment of Meta Directory infrastructure (minimum 5 years)
IDE/Programming Languages
- C# (minimum 3 years)
- Windows Powershell (minimum 3 years)
Other Products/Tools
- MS Forefront Identity Manager (minimum 3 years)
Desirable Skills:
Certifications
- Microsoft Identity Integration Server or Forefront Identity Manager
- Certifications in operational and project management frameworks (eg, ITIL, COBIT, PRINCE2, PMI, ...)

- Server 2008 Installation, Administration and Problem Solving
