An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global brand for a Senior Marketing Manager. The position is based in Paris and we are considering candidates who wish to relocate along with those local. Travel allowances are available for those relocating.

Role of the Senior Marketing Manager:

Acquisition & Lifecycle Marketing Strategies: Identifies emerging practices or gaps in marketing capabilities, develops and tests best practice and facilities their adoption by the local marketing team. Possesses experience in and an understanding of all elements of the marketing mix and can create multi-channel strategies that can be transferred across products, services and markets.

Marketing Plans & Forecasts: Maintain a view of marketing forecast and performance in partnership with central. Coordinates required action plans to deliver improved performance and track progress. Manages the marketing budget in line with expectations looking for opportunities to maximise sales growth, retention and marketing efficiency. Develops business cases that drive optimisation and executes this following approval. Understand the P&L and marketing value and how to maximise this opportunity

Product websites: Refreshes and content management as advised by product teams and develops a customer experience marketing plan for all communications driving and guiding customer action.

People Leadership: Support L&D team development and supports training and resources to address each individual specific needs. Acknowledge levels of expertise and create a learning plan to cater to each group's needs

Vendor Management: Management of local marketing vendors working with the central team to ensure optimised and appropriate Vendor management practices are in place

Marketing Technologies: Management of local marketing technologies and the development of business cases to improve marketing performance

Requirements of the Senior Marketing Manager:

  • Fluent in French is a must

  • Multi-channel B2B2C marketing experience, including digital

  • In addition to demonstrated marketing expertise, the incumbent should exhibit strong commercial and analytical acumen and an ability to assess complex and diverse information to drive business outcomes.

  • Think strategically, with an ability to convert strategy into clear, actionable tactics; appropriately challenge the status quo to drive transformational change for the organization

  • Make complex prioritization trade-offs and tactical decisions using sound business judgment, analytical and reasoning skills

  • Build strong internal business relationships and drive senior management level alignment

  • Operate autonomously and make complex decisions in situations of ambiguity and time pressure

  • Collaborate and demonstrate genuine teamwork within and outside the AI organization, navigate and manage the Matrix

  • Communicate effectively to secure the necessary focus and resources required to achieve aggressive growth targets

  • Exhibit strong judgment of client, consumer and business needs to deliver profitable growth

  • Deliver against financial targets
