Well-known Global IT Solutions Provider/Systems Integrator urgently requires a Cyber Security Consultant to join the initial stages of an exciting cyber security project. You will be conducting initial assessments, involved with SOC design and outlining security strategies to protect critical business services from cyber threat.
The successful candidate(s) will possess extensive experience of security operations/SOC and this will be complimented by a deep understanding and technical knowledge of security architecture, cyber strategies, risk management, vulnerability/threat assessment, information assurance and the relevant legislative frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI DSS etc).
My client is seeking an individual who understands how to define and build a Security Operations Centre as well as assess security controls, business processing and operational auditing. Ideally you will be from a consulting background with a working knowledge of network security and SIEM technologies and hold a relevant industry qualification/certification.
This is an initial 3 month contract with longer term potential and there is the option of remote working for candidates with the right experience.
