Description
SC Cleared* Senior Bid Finance (Lead) is urgently required by our Global IT Outsourcing Client for an initial 12-month contract to be based from home (there will be travel to customer/client site as required).
The role is aimed at ensuring our clients largest deals are optimised and structured in order to maximise the chances of winning profitable business, and that these deals are clearly and objectively presented to senior management to enable effective decision making.
Job purpose & accountabilities:
1/. Ability to lead the finance work stream on our clients largest deal opportunities, in order to:
- Clearly optimise, articulate and present the financial business case; and
- Shape deals to get the best possible financial outcomes for Fujitsu and its customers.
2/. Ability to lead customer presentations and negotiations to secure optimal commercial financial
terms in our client's largest and most complex contracts;
3/. Drive creative and innovative pricing and financial solutions to solve customers' business case
challenges;
4/. Work alongside other virtual bid team members, including sales, to help influence the customer
offer;
5/. Understand where specific technical financial issues may arrive and work with the relevant experts
to resolve;
6/. Internal governance management; and
7/. Able to suggest and implement wider bid finance improvements, garnered from own experience in
this area.
