colour material finish (CMF) design specialist (m/f)

Description

• Frequently arrange and conduct interviews and observations with suppliers (in Europe and China)
• Collect samples and document insights and synthesise them to CMF concepts and CMF trend reports
• Generate CMF specification documents for the appearance of the model making and prototypes of the suppliers in China
• Create or add presentations (most likely in MS PowerPoint) that shall be used within the design team
• Communicate with engineers and report to the management

• Profound working experience in a similar role with proven success
• Ability to translate insights from observations into business opportunities
• Fluency in English and excellent social and communication skills, Chinese skills are beneficial
• Willingness for worldwide short-term travels
• Ability to work in a pressurised and deadline-driven environment
• Experience in the field of communication products or consumer electronics are beneficial
• It is beneficial if you have recently worked for leading consumer electronics or household brands

You would be working as a part-time (2-3 days per week for 6-12 month) team member of the design team.
