Our client in the Medina area is looking for a Web QA Tester. This is a 1 year project.
We are looking for someone who meets the following technical skills:
Proven ability in the following areas: test planning, test scenario writing, test automation, test execution, defect management and status reporting
Minimum of three (3) years experience in software quality testing
Good exposure to software testing life cycle (STLC)
Demonstrated understanding of XML structures and functions
Demonstrated knowledge on defect management/tracking
Demonstrated strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
SOA experience knowledge is needed!
Job functions:
Successful pre-production testing (fully executed test cases, with actual results matching expected results), such that the releases are production-ready
Test documentation aligned with client standards
Evaluation of requirements for accuracy and testability
Assist in delivering technical training efforts on automated testing topics
Input to or creation of test plan and participation in test plan reviews
Development of the manual or automated test scripts
Test scripts library maintenance
Establishment of new or modification of existing test scripts, utilizing the available automated tool suites
Execution of test cases to evaluate system quality relative to business requirements
Logged and documented test outcomes/results
Reporting of the bugs Through test management tools, provide reports on bug and verify high priority bugs are escalated
Provide timely communications on progress/status of test development efforts
Analysis and recovery from execution errors
