Job Title: Freelance Consolidation Systems Support Specialist

Location: Netherlands

SystemsAccountants is currently seeking a Freelance Consolidation Systems Support Specialist for a high profile client located in the Randstad area. Our client is currently undergoing significant change across their financial reporting systems and financial reporting processes.
The successful candidate will enjoy a dynamic team environment on a complex EPM transformation programme, providing critical support and systems analyses to the finance user community. This freelance opportunity will be within a dedicated Finance Systems team, within their global HQ, supporting a large project team on predominantly 2nd and 3rd functional support for their consolidation and finance systems platforms.

What will I be doing?

  • You will be responsible for the functional maintenance of the consolidation and reporting tools across the company's operations
  • Your role will involve functional maintenance of reporting tools currently under development in line with various international and statutory reporting standards.
  • You will provide support to the users across the group function, 2nd and 3rd line
  • You will create reports for both internal and external reporting for Solvency II and IFRS.
  • You will be responsible for designing, planning and preparing quarterly reports for the company
  • You will develop processes relating to reporting structures, templates, tables and be the contact point for any questions relating to the reporting processes.
  • The role is a great combination of business support and project work related to the reporting systems

Desired Skills and Experience

  • You must hold a university degree, preferably in ICT or Business/Finance
  • 4+ years' experience with financial consolidation and reporting systems, either consultancy or administration experience, ideally Tagetik, however HFM, Hyperion Enterprise, BFC, BPC, Onestream etc. will be considered
  • Experience with maintenance and support of Management Information tools, particularly reporting templates design and maintenance
  • Support experience for finance users, ideally 2nd and 3rd line
  • ITIL knowledge is highly preferred
  • Understanding of data warehousing and Datamodelling
  • Knowledge of consolidation reporting guidelines
  • Solvency II and IFRS knowledge is an advantage
  • Previous work experience in an international environment across global departments
  • Experience with translating business needs into functional solutions within the consolidation tools
  • Previous experience within the financial services sector is preferred
  • Fluent English is required
