WHRO, public broadcasting for Hampton Roads, is seeking a graphic designer responsible for supporting our team in its continued growth and expansion.
Services needed include developing innovative, effective and creative solutions. Working together with a team developing concepts and creative for campaigns, logos, style guides, flyers, posters, ads, brochures and more. Assisting in the design of the monthly member magazine, Photoshopping images and creating images and vectorsin Illustrator. Developing corporate identities for various initiatives and campaigns and maintaining the brand through strong messaging and consistency.
This is a contract position and is expected to require one FTE in order to provide adequate services. Must have knowledge in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, a strong eye for design and awareness of current trends. Proven organizational skills, a team player and experience in both print and digital formats. Must have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year university or college and previous related experience preferred.
