My client, a large banking firm, are looking to take on a Finance Business Partner to join their Birmingham office within the Wealth Management function.
Role Purpose
- Finance Analyst with responsibility for maintaining and interpreting outputs from Sherwood pricing models for retail products and other pricing models as appropriate in support of wealth or any other products not covered by Sherwood
- Support revenue generating activities and new business development through support of product control committees
- Support the Product Business Partners to evaluate the business cases of pricing decisions
Key Accountabilities
- Business partnering responsibilities for product and proposition pricing decisions
- Support assumption building by maintaining unit revenue, impairment and cost data to be used in revised annual forecasts and Latest Estimates, Annual Operating Plans working across Business Partner teams
- Maintain data used in Sherwood models and ensure look back reviews carried out to quality assure pricing decisions made in Committee
Knowledge, Skills & Experience/Qualifications
- The individual will have a formally recognised finance qualification.
- Strong modelling capabilities
- Business Partnering experience
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast changing, results driven environment
- Commercially minded; customer focused
- Strong leadership skills, demonstrating ability to use initiative and effect change through people in a large Matrix organisation.
- Strong management information background, both in terms of required content, production processes and understanding what drives the numbers reported
- Solid controls background (internal & external audit experience is ideal)
Rate - Up to £325
Location - Birmingham
Contract - 6 months
