Job Description
The Workday Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the Workday absence and time tracking solution modification. The Consultant will work with the HRIT Team to understand their business requirements and help configure/test the Workday solution & modification change. The Consultant will take direction and provide status to the Sr. Manager, Workday Applications, managing this project.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Be an expert in Workday Absence and Time Tracking
- Perform the following: understand business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution
- Help convert Legacy Module Design
- Complete the work assigned within the budgeted time allocated
- Assist the integration team in helping to test integrations between Workday and benefit providers, payroll, absence, time tracking systems and other 3rd party/custom solutions
- Understand Workday's Implementation Methodology
- Provide the Sr. Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status
Experience:
- 2+ years implementing enterprise payroll solutions with at least 1 full life cycle implementation of Workday
- Thorough understanding of Absence and Time Tracking
- Previous consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company
- Experience implementing Workday
- Superior Excel Skills
- Functional and technical experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
- Experience with multiple HCM, payroll and/or financial applications a plus
Location: Texas, USA
Rate: Dependant on experience
Duration: 3 months initially
