Associate Director - Marketing Planning - Retirement Pensions Investment

A Leading Investment firm are looking to hire an experienced End Investor Proposition Associate Director to work in their Marketing Planning - Retirement Pensions Investment team.

The three key areas are:

-Retirement
-Wealth
-Mass Affluence

The necessary candidate will have pensions regulations experience and ideally some knowledge of retirements experience.

Purpose of your role

The role will require you to use your deep understanding of the customer to define, design and oversee the creation of customer value propositions, investment solutions, content, tools and best in class personal experiences across our on/off line channels that build and improve customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, increase the value of existing customers and help us win more customers.

Key Responsibilities

*Work with the Pensions Investor leadership team to define the core end investor proposition and create tailored customer value propositions and best in class personal experiences aligned to our key customer segments and audiences.
*Own and maintain the proposition definition documents for core services, products, tools and activities. Ensure that end investor proposition requirements are derived from (or at least aligned to) internal/external customer/market data, feedback and research. Ensure that all documents are clearly articulated, expressed in the voice of the customer and have a strong external or market dimension.
*Work with the internal change program to ensure that end investor requirements for core work streams and proposition enhancements are clearly articulated, expressed in the voice of the customer and are aligned with customer feedback, satisfaction drivers and commercial priorities. Own and maintain the proposition definition documents process, actively contribute to the development process and oversee internal product suppliers responsible for the delivery of the change agenda and day to day management of the product lines.
*Working in conjunction with Customer, Proposition & Commercial Analyst develop and maintain commercial models to underpin individual propositions; undertake impact assessment of market and proposition change on our overall UK commercial model (eg pricing, distribution models)
*Proactively collaborate with the central teams (digital, client services etc.) teams to ensure both strategic and tactical changes are aligned to end investor requirements.
*Work collaboratively with other channel proposition teams to ensure best practice, customer feedback and plans are shared, leveraged and coordinated effectively.
*Champion the creation, development and delivery of best in class customer aligned proposition, products and services
*Support the Head of Customer, Proposition and Commercial in the definition and delivery the end investor content strategy and requirements for PI. Ensure both online and offline marketing content and information is appropriate to deliver commercial and customer objectives.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Essential

*Background in propositions development, customer experience development and management and marketing
*Demonstrable skills in customer focused strategy development, gained with through working for a range of relevant organisations
*Exposure & experience with Pensions and Retirements
*Proven market and customer segmentation experience - identifying the value pools within a market and developing differentiated propositions based on insight
*Experience of having worked with the financial services sector, ideally asset management
*Experience of leading a research function and turning research and insight into actionable plans
*Experience of customer journey and lifetime value management demonstrating value added outcomes for both customer and business
*Understanding of the technology and operations implications of proposition delivery.
*Strong business planning skills, but with proven ability to execute and build business cases
*Good communicator, with the ability to work externally and internally
*Comfortable working under pressure and managing concurrent tasks against deadlines
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills
*Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
*Used to working in a Matrix organisation

Desirable

*Experience of working within a corporate strategy/corporate development team within the financial services sector
*Experience of working with digital propositions
