Description
1 year + contract for a Sr. Avaya Voice analyst. - 3 positions - w2 hourly only. 5 or more years of experience needed, 2 or 4 year IT degree.
Candidates must have a thorough understanding of the Avaya Communications Manager, Session & System Manager, and Aura Conferencing systems to include Servers, gateways, interfaces, and IP and digital phones.
A working knowledge of trunk interfaces and functionality is needed; this includes analog CO and DID trunks, Primary Rate Interface trunks, and SIP trunks.
The ability to access, design, and manipulate the database in the systems listed above is required.
2 Positions require: Expertise with Cisco UCM is a plus. Expertise with Microsoft Unified Messaging for voice mail is a plus.
1 position requires: Expertise with Avtec's IP based Scout console systems is a plus. The ability to determine and document telecom room requirements to include physical space, power, grounding, cabling, MDF layout, etc. is necessary to support implementation of the systems as well as ongoing operations.
Conducting station reviews for migration from one system to another or adding new users to an existing system is an important part of the job.
Basic Microsoft Office Skills Required: - Word - Visio - Excel The job is located in Raleigh, NC but travel could be required throughout our service territory in North and South Carolina, Indiana, Ohio, and Florida. - about 10 %
Must have valid driver's license and pass 7 year criminal background check. Must also be able to work hourly only on a w2. We offer health/dental and 401k benefits.
