Description
A Wiring Technician is required by a leading Motorsport team to join their Wire Harness Assembly team.
Role: Wiring Technician
As Wiring Technician you will be responsible for:
* Responsible for the manufacture of in-house built Electrical and Electronic components, looms and assemblies as required and to the set specification
* Provide support to the travelling Electrical Technicians whilst the cars are in the factory on car builds and turn-rounds
* Communicate all build issues to the appropriate design function via good communication
* To have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of mechanical and electrical technical drawings and the appropriate procedures
* Jointly responsible, with the other Electrical Technicians, for the logistical control of workshop materials and tools
Experience:
As Wiring Technician you will have experience of:
* Experience within Motorsport or Aerospace industry's
* Strong wire harness build experience
* MIL spec wiring and heat shrink moulded parts
* Soldering experience
