Sr Healthcare Financial Analyst - 3 month contract
Description:

Manages and analyzes monetary resources and affairs within an organization.
-
May also be responsible for conducting technical accounting research as needed.

Prepares and maintains supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Updates and collects business unit reporting packages, helps prepare ad hoc financial reporting as necessary.
Daily responsibilities:
-
Preparation of monthly/weekly dashboard reports
-
Analysis and audits of extended business office vendor invoices
-
Trending of key operational performance indicators
-
Coordination and development of accounts receivable templates and analysis of variances between budgeted expenses and actuals
-
Interface with Procurement, National Revenue Cycle reporting and Regional IT departments
Requirements:
-
BA in Finance or Accounting required plus minimum 6+ years of direct relevant experience.

Advanced proficiency in PC based word and spreadsheet applications, including advanced functions such as graphics, pivot tables, macros and database management.

Ability to analyze complex data and finance concepts and prepare presentations and conduct professional presentations

Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Knowledge of Health Care Revenue Cycle metrics

Ability to interact with cross functional areas (including external vendors and procurement departments)

Travel required: -Occasional travel may be required (Oakland, CA)

Experience with Clarity, Cognos or other reporting software tools is not required but would be a plus.

This individual should be able to demonstrate the ability to handle complex finance concepts and perform special projects as requested

Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients.
