Pension Consultant

I am currently recruiting for a Pension Consultant based in Bracknell on an initial 6 month assignment for a globally recognised IT Service Provider.

The candidate will be working within the Pensions department alongside the Pension Manager, the Pension Consultant has day to day responsibility for delivering and managing projects within the Pension Department, including supporting Trustee boards and managing pensions work resulting from our clients TUPE and M&A activity.

Job Purpose and Accountabilities:

Providing support for Trustee boards, including:

  • Managing suppliers and advisers
  • Support on governance matters and business planning
  • Strategic consulting
  • Administration
  • Investment support
  • Actuarial valuation support In conjunction with Head of Pension Operations, deputising, where required, for the Pension Manager.
  • Managing and delivering on Pension Department projects, ensuring successful and timely delivery.
  • Managing pension's aspects of our client's transactions related activity, including:
  • Providing input to pensions aspects of commercial contracts - using professional advisers where necessary.
  • Liaising with Fujitsu's HR Bid team to ensure progression of pension matters relating to contracts.
  • Writing communication material on pensions matters for employees affected by M&A activities.
  • Delivering pensions presentations to employees affected by M&A activities.
  • Managing the smooth transfers of pensions for staff (both joining and leaving Fujitsu) in respect of M&A activity.
