Senior Engineer - Electrical
A Senior Engineer - Electrical with defence experience is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our defence client based in Glasgow.
This is a 6 month contract working for a UK leading defence company.
Key skills required for the Senior Engineer - Electrical contract role
- Able to perform robust analysis using recognised analytical tools and to make sound judgements based on experience.
- Has sufficient breadth of knowledge of warship design and the sound judgement needed to be able make correct trade-off decisions.
- Knowledge and experience in use of ship design processes and systems to LCM guidelines.
- Knowledge and experience of multiple aspects with respect to marine engineering.
- Technical knowledge and problem solving.
Essential:
- Incorporated Engineer, or demonstrably working towards this
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline relevant to the design and production of complex naval warships
- Associate Member of a Professional Institution relevant to discipline
The role is based in Glasgow - Commutable from Kilmarnock, Paisley, Greenock, Stirling and Falkirk with excellent access from Edinburgh.
