Description

Main responsibilities:

  • partnering, communication and alignment with affiliate Lilly teams to understand and address business objectives
  • communication and alignment with regional, global and other affiliate's oncology MR functions
  • communication and alignment with external business partners
  • define problems and business issues; identify and prioritize opportunities for market research to support business decisions to achieve business objectives
  • development & management of affiliate market research plans, budgets and timelines
  • development of market research approaches, which includes selecting the most appropriate research methodology and techniques to meet insights needs.
  • management of external business partners
  • partner with regional MR and business team members in the delivery and execution of research projects
  • analyze and interpret findings/data, prepare reports, and make actionable recommendations for the affiliate and beyond
  • seamless communications and alignment with regional and global OBU functions
  • actively work with cross-functional business partners to maximize understanding of business and to impact decision making
  • communicate research implications and recommendations to local and international business partners and support implementation of actions as needed
  • discovery of overarching customer insights for a Oncology customers in Oncology through the synthesis of new and existing information and integration into local and global strategies/tactics
  • provide relevant input for forecasting existing and new indications in Oncology

Key skills:

  • university Degree (or equivalent working experience)
  • a minimum of 3 years market research experience
  • excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • fluent English, written and spoken
  • design skills: develop approach for addressing business problems and appropriately translate business questions into market research questions
  • strong communication, presentation and influence skills: develop and present recommendations to local/international cross-functional teams and senior management
  • ability to influence cross functional teams and ability to influence affiliate oncology leadership
  • ability to prioritize competing priorities while delivering high quality service and product
  • strong project management experience
  • comfortable being exposed to and present to affiliate and regional management
  • critical thinking skills
  • strong analytic skills
  • high learning agility and proactivity
  • ability to work in (international) virtual teams.
  • ability to form independent and objective judgments and defend views appropriately
