The Incident Management Team are the front line operational arm of the Cyber Security Team responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the online services and data assets. This candidate must be able to hit the ground running.
We are currently looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst/SOC Engineer to work an initial 6 month contract based in Central London.
- Responsible for the perimeter defences and security tools used in the proactive defence of the organisations systems and data
- Anticipate and prevent first line potential cyber penetration
- Working with 3rd parties to ensure robust security monitoring
- Able to work well with all levels of the business, to effectively, quickly and concisely convey complex security messages
- Accountable for standards and technical security processes in areas of responsibility
- Assist managers in the ongoing security of our global organisation
- Provide technical expertise to line managers and develop subject matter expertise in areas of responsibility
- Risk management
- Reporting and meeting KPI's in areas of responsibility
- Follow relevant Change Management governance
Desired skills and experience of the Security Operations Analyst include:
- Cyber best practice risk assessment
- Familiarity of relevant investigations process
- Demonstrable experience of relevant incident management process
- Experience working with 3rd parties
- Data Analytics
- Strong communicator, able to write technical security standards
- Strong knowledge in relevant area's of Global Cyber Security
- SOC Operations, Setup and Design
