ICT Purchasing Officer - IT Hardware & Software - 3 months

An exciting opportunity for an experienced ICT Purchasing Officer to work in St. Andrews. You will be managing the day-to-day operation and delivery of the organisations ICT purchasing function. You will also manage all non-standard ICT purchases - this will involve dealing with a range of non-standard requests, largely without reference to others.

Essential Skills:

  • Purchasing of IT hardware, software and services
  • Online data-entry
  • Experience of reviewing service performance and suggesting and effecting positive change to maximise service quality, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Computerised finance system
  • Computerised helpdesk system
  • Varied buying structures, ie devolved, centralised and mixed
