ELECTRONIC ENGINEER - wearable devices
3 month rolling contract
Our market leading client is seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer to join their team working on world class electronic wearable products ( eg personal navigation devises and apps, and GPS sports watches).
You will be able to demonstrate solid experience working through the whole design life cycle - taking new wearable devises from initial design phase through to mass production.
You will be working in a fast paced, innovative environment and you will need to be diligent, proactive and have solid engineering skills. Willing and able to get his/her hands dirty (use lab equipment), be able to communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders and have a strong internal drive and commitment, will take personal responsibility for getting things done to deliver products on time.
Technical skills and experience
5+ years' experience including practical experience.
Good degree in electronic engineering.
Great electronic fundamentals.
Proven track record in designing quality consumer products, with full product design cycle experience.
The role will involve
Develop market leading products, working as part of a great team.
Help develop and mature platform selection.
Key component selection.
Schematic design.
Manage PCB layout.
Bring-up and validation of new hardware
