Description
Our client is currently looking for a Wire & Harness Design Specialist for a contract opportunity at their site in Sweden. This will be an initial 6 month position with the potential for long term extension.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop of new wirings & the documentation (wiring, connection diagram)
- Development of the functional diagram
- Define Input for BOM (+/-) and calculation
- Contact with suppliers
- Contribution in Project Teams
- Support quality improvement projects
- Support cost reduction projects
- Consider Cost Optimized Solutions by wiring creation (knowledge of supplier equipment)
- Part approval for wiring
Required competence
- M.Sc. or equal education
- Several years' experience in computer-aided design tools (Catia V5 or similar)
- Experience in Teamcenter is an asset
- Knowledge of IEC/UL standards
- Experience in White Goods industry is an asset
- Proven working experience in projects
- Creative, solution oriented and pro-active in translating project need into sustainable solutions
- Ability to work in cross-functional and international teams
- Ability to run several projects in parallel
- Alert, Positive, Team-player
- Good English skills, written & verbal
