Description
Mechanical Design Engineer - PTC, Creo2, Windchill, PCB design.
Mechanical Engineer needed to update and complete Typhoon CRM mechanical design to allow B-models to be built by December 2016.
Close liaison with electronics, PCB, supply chain and production teams. Perform DFM & DFA reviews. Prepare drawing pack for the enclosure to be manufactured.
Must be able to analyse requirements to produce concept and detailed designs based on complex machined, injection moulded & sheet metal parts.
Proficient in the use of PTC Creo2, Windchill, Microsoft Office & Outlook. Experienced in generating design drawings to BS8888 standard, configuration control standards and ensure clear communication of key data.
Can perform tolerance analysis of close tolerance parts and complex assemblies. Proven record of working closely with Electronic, PCB design and production teams.
