Description
Responsibilities
- Identify Key trends and needs of the different markets and be a strong contributor to company strategy and policy
- Analysis and evaluation of relevant state of the art technology in the media, published research journals and the wider industry, including competitors' products
- Be actively involved in Technology European eco-systems & be a company representative in these eco-systems, build relationship with Academics lab
- Identify and report Outstanding Technologies from Start-ups, SMEs, Academic lab or institutes in Europe.
- Propose novel & disruptive Technology development for our products, in regards to our competition
- Establishment of a Technology roadmap in conjunction with the different Business Lines (Smartphones, Wearables, Smart Home, Tablets & PCs, Connected vehicles & M2M)
- Analyze European specifics for Electronic Consumer Markets
- Close collaboration with numerous Product & R&D Teams
Qualifications
- Master or PhD in electrical engineering, telecommunications or computer science
- Business Background (MBA, Business Related position for at least 5 years)
- European and Worldwide short-term travels are required
Skills
- Strong Technical expertise of Embedded systems (HW, System and Software)
- Expertise in (several field appreciated): Displays, Chipset, Camera, Audio, AI, Robotic, HMI, AR/VR, Sports algorithms
- At least 10 years in the Consumer Electronic industry
- Technical expertise into Cloud and Applications SW world
- MBA of Business Expertise demonstrated through Business Development, Product line duties.
- Self-motivation, self-organization, independence, curiosity, thoroughness, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, resilience, hands-on and can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
