CATIA V5 Designer - 6 months Contract - Portsmouth
A leading Client of Modis is looking for a CATIA V5 Designer who will be responsible for the Design of coax and/or waveguide routings. Training will be given in the use of CATIA V5 wave guide and tubing workbenches etc.
CATIA V5 Designer Outline Job Profile:
- Creation of models and drawings for both details and assemblies
- 3D Solid Modelling
- 2D Detailing
CATIA V5 Designer Qualifications and/or Skills:
Essential:
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering with a good Engineering or equivalent
- Good communication skills at all levels
Desirable:
- Knowledge of VPM and PDM system
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
CATIA V5 Designer Previous Experience:
Essential:
- Good working knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drafting within CATIA V5 design environment
- Demonstrable experience of design of coax and/or waveguide routings
- Creation of models and drawings for both details and assemblies
Desirable:
- Aerospace experience, mechanical design
