CFD Aerodynamicist (CAD Design, ANSA, OPENFOAM)
My client is looking for a Senior CFD Aerodynamic Engineer, reporting to the Head of CFD, to support our Aerodynamic Department at our Wind Tunnel in Bicester, UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving forward the Aerodynamic development of our race car.
This will entail taking ownership of a development area and working with Team Leaders to prepare, execute and report the conclusions of wind tunnel and CFD studies. Furthermore you will be required to continuously improving the fidelity and accuracy of the CFD simulations and supervising and coordinating the work of our Junior CFD Aerodynamicists.
The successful candidate has a strong grounding in CFD and aerodynamics, with a Phd or Master degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering with a specialisation in Aerodynamics. The ability to use CFD codes and CAD software is essential with experience of ANSA, NX and OpenFoam being a distinct advantage.
The role requires a high level of creativity, motivation and great attention to details. Flexibility in working time, teamwork skill and capability of working with minor supervision are essential.
