Validation and Test Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Ensure traction and pantograph performance and functionality throughout type testing on the train in single and multiple unit
- Develop your knowledge of all rolling stock fleets and be in contact with the final client on the field
- Participate in the function integration test on the train
- Plan and perform the homologation and customer test in the test bench and on the train
- In cooperation with the system engineers discuss the contents of test specification, invite the customer and the assessor and write the test report
- Plan daily/weekly call with all the stakeholders to solve upcoming issues during the test campaign
Your qualifications
- Engineering degree (Master of Science or higher) with experience in rolling stock validation and verification or qualified technician with profound experience in design and verification
- General knowledge of railway industry and general knowledge of traction chain
- Solid communication and organisational skills (ability to meet deadlines)
- Result-oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity
- Solid capability to build up a plan in cooperation with the system engineer and the planner
- Problem-solving and reporting
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in English, German and French language skills are beneficial
