One of our leading clients in renewable energy is currently looking for an Onshore Cable Installation Supervisor to work on an offshore wind farm project in the UK.Responsibilities
- External reinstatement of substation.
- 220kV cable route reinstatement.
- Investigation of external stakeholder management issues on the cable route.
- Supervision of the onshore cable installation works (route and substation).
- Ensure installation takes place according to design.
- Ensure contractors and subcontractors deliver to quality and perform in safely manner.
- Previous onshore cable supervision experience is a perquisite.
- Min. 2-3 years of practical as well as theoretical experience within HV export cables, components or installation onshore.
- Possesses the skills of a good project engineer (technically skilled, integrity, communication, adaptability, teamwork, decision-making and planning).
- Previous experienced with supervision of 220kV onshore cable installation is a perquisite and knowledge of stakeholders in the project area is preferable.
- BSc Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent professional experience
