Great Contract roles available with one of the worlds top 3 companies specialising in Transportation Payment technologies. November starts, and 3 & 6 month options with strong possibility of further extension.

Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to join a busy Hardware Engineering team in a varied, project driven contract role. You will be responsible for electrical/electronic engineering to fulfil customer or development requirements through design, component specification, prototype, testing and full documentation stages.
These positions offer the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of technology within the transportation sector. With an extensive list of high profile projects you will be exposed to all areas of transportation technologies including the latest innovations in automated fare collection and contactless payments.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Carrying out electronic engineering tasks including design, testing, documentation and review
Preparing systems and engineering specifications to obtain quotations from subcontractors and materials suppliers
Providing technical assistance to all areas of the business on specific issues relating to electronic engineering

Experience Needed:

. Minimum 5 years experience working in an Electronic Design and Manufacturing role
. Analogue and digital design experience
. EMC/EMI design consideration
. Schematic capture using ORCAD orAltium
. Experience with serial interfaces, DDR3 or ARM SOCs desirable.
