Location: West Des Moines, IA

Client: Leading healthcare client

Rate:$21.83/hr - $28.37/hr on w2 without benefits

Duration: 13 Months ( with possible extension/Hire )

Comfortable & capable with using different technical applications (apps & Back End websites+ Microsoft applications) 3. experienced coaching one on one with proven results 4. Job Title: Coaching Expert

Your challenge

  • You will be providing one-to-one coaching to consumers through the use of a coaching platform, which delivers messages to users through an app. Critical to your role is the ability to analyze user data and determine, through following protocols, what message to send in order to best assist them improve their overall health through behavior change. In addition, your analytical mind will review data to assess the effectiveness of messages sent. In time there may be opportunities to coach groups, as well as coach through different channels.

Your work and input will help shape the coaching experience because your background experience as well as your direct contact with consumers is instrumental in ensuring our consumer needs are met and that we deliver and exemplary product and service.

Your responsibilities:

As part of your role you will:

  • Provide coaching to consumers
  • Track methodology behind consumer interactions as well as the content of the contact and consumer result (as observed in data or consumer responses)
  • Generate proposals for developing and maintaining a high quality consistent behavior change strategy in close cooperation with Behavior change expert/Product manager content/Consumer marketing director)
  • Provide suggestions for coaching platform improvements
  • Support training, content creation
  • Support definition of requirements for the applications (while keeping in mind behavior change principles)
  • Support enhancement of digital coaching capability
  • Assist in monitoring user feedback related to online content and improve it accordingly
  • Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in a health sciences, health prevention, nutrition and/or exercise area
  • Proven success helping clients get to their goals in a hands on environment
  • Working knowledge of leading behavioral change principles (For example: Motivational interviewing, scaling)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health interventions, nutrition and/or exercise principles as well as other influencing factors (sleep, stress, alcohol, caffeine, mindset)
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with ability to generate meaningful insights out of consumer feedback
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of proficiency using a variety of computers programs as well as apps
  • Genuine desire to help, positively impact lives and make a difference
  • Customer first attitude
  • Empathy skills (ideally taken some form of training on this topic)
  • Fluent in English

Assets

  • Hands on experience working with individuals in primary prevention is an asset
  • Experience in digital coaching
  • Coaching Certification
  • Health Coach Certification
  • Phone call coaching experience

Nice to have

  • Interest in delivering health solutions to individuals using wearable technology and an app
  • Previous experience in wearable technology
  • Experience in project management
