Corporate Communications Officer is required for a contract position in Corsham.Sopra Steria Recruitment working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK.

Job Title: Corporate Communications Officer

Location: Westminster, London

Duration: 4-5 Months

  • The role of the Corporate Communications Officer will be to support the Strategic Communications Manager, the Information Manager and Customer Service Manager in the CE office communications team. There will be a number of business as usual activities the role will support with, as well as discreet work strands of some new communications projects.

Work is likely to include:

  • Publish material on GOV.UK using appropriate content types, meeting editorial standards
  • Advise colleagues on correct use of house style, document templates and content types
  • Plan, produce and publish e-bulletin, manage contact database and resolve subscription enquiries.
  • Developing contacts around the business to identify internal communications opportunities.
  • Commission, write and publish articles on the Intranet - including on behalf of the CEO
  • Produce and distribute staff newsletters, including the weekly update.
  • Monitor media and social media for insight about EFA
  • Collate and monitor website usage using analytics package, customer enquiries reports etc
  • Contribute to development, analysis and action planning for customer and staff surveys
  • Contribute to development of other metrics and reporting
  • supporting the work of the Customer Service Manager through development of Customer Reference groups and customer insight

Projects will include:

  • Supporting the Strategic Communications Manager in delivering the improvement, developing content and migration of corporate information to a new Intranet by April 2017
  • improving EFA's GOV UK content through implementing the recommendations from the Finding Things GDS project
