Description
Harvey Nash's Public Sector client in Edinburgh requires a Communications Officer to join their programme on an initial 6 month contract.
You will be tasked with developing communications plan, maintaining content, advising on latest approaches and best practice, producing and editing communication material (social media), and building relationships for ongoing stakeholder engagement.
You will work on an upcoming change programme, supporting specific projects and providing professional expert guidance on communications and marketing requirements.
Essential Skills:
. Proven track record of success implementing communications programmes within large complex organisations
. Public Sector/Charity/Higher Education experience
. Experience and knowledge of communication principles, tools and methodologies
. Knowledge of project management methodologies
. Skilled in managing internal and external client relationships
. Excellent understanding of professional, ethical and legal standards
. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
. Experience producing material for social media
The ideal candidate will have experience implementing communication programmes within large complex technology organisations or within Higher Education.
